Ya jendry who I on here but not much and also on 8thcivic, just replaced his gears with the gear-x drag set. It's priced around $1800 for gears 1-4 and a main shaft. I'm interested in them because only gears 3 and 4 are rated at high hp, I believe 500+, so that's probably part of the reason they are able to cut costs, which is great for turbo guys because we aren't making big power till 3rd and 4th anyway.
For those of you interested in PPG products, shoot me a PM. Shipping from Australia isn't cheap, but I can save you guys at least 5% on your orders. VIP members I can save a bit more, of course.
gotta make that money man, and shit you havent told me when you are ready to start so how am i gona help
thats what i told him just lmk when you start or plan to start

:dontknow: I always thought straight cut where stronger and could take more abuse........
Helical have more mesh area which actually make them strong. The other thing that people believe is that they are more efficient with drive train loss. They are actually but the difference is very little. The only thing the straight cut has significantly over helical is the load that helical puts on the axels and trans case, but for someone like me that will stay around the 5-600hp range ill be buying the gear x helicals.

helical gears have thinner tines but more of them are engaged. The upside is that when they are engaged they are stronger.
with straight cut gears, you have much thicker tines but less of them are engaged. This is better for dogbox style transmissions. And that sound

morning everyone
So jelly...... I've always wanted to make my own engine and bay harness but I just dont care enough cause I never pop hood anyways lol...... Dat entire inside is tucked doe :fyea:
Honestly the engine one is not to bad. The worst one in my opinion in our car is the dash harness. That was suicide waiting to happen working on that one
I'm tired of tucking lol
