I'm interested in them because only gears 3 and 4 are rated at high hp, I believe 500+, so that's probably part of the reason they are able to cut costs, which is great for turbo guys because we aren't making big power till 3rd and 4th anyway.Quote:

Helical have more mesh area which actually make them strong. The other thing that people believe is that they are more efficient with drive train loss. They are actually but the difference is very little. The only thing the straight cut has significantly over helical is the load that helical puts on the axels and trans case, but for someone like me that will stay around the 5-600hp range ill be buying the gear x helicals.Quote:
