I'm definitely not built for prison. I'm to pretty for that shit.
I know I can make it on the GT30, I was only thinking of switching because a twin scroll setup would get me 500 whp while decreasing lag and increasing efficiency.

I live near 2 stations and within a third (although the third is rather far) so I am going to try to use the local stuff first. I need to pick up an E85 tester and go from there. Also the 8th gens have an issue with our fuel gauge, it eventually stops working when using e85, so I'm going u have to coat the fuel sender circuit board to try to prevent that from happening.
Maybe after the OC car show. I have a flatbed I can use whenever I want.
Lol, I know. I'm just over thinking everything because it's all I can do while I save money to get it finished. I would never notice the difference but I would like to think I could haha
Honestly from my experience in going to disagree. At the track, in assuming by track you mean drag strip because none of the turbo setups here are appropriate for road tracks, I launch with slicks at 6000epm, the turbo spools instantly as I pop the clutch. You are shifting so fast and can power shift every shift other than into 2nd (on a stock trans) thus making the turbo hardly lose any boost between shifts. I doubt it would even make a 10th of a difference on a drag strip with a turbo like a GT30. Now for something huge like a 6767 or GT42/45 or any of those monster turbos it would probably help some, but still be rather marginal. And other than you and a few others on here, most of these cars are street cars first intended to be enjoyed, and you don't get much enjoyment looking at numbers on paper, at least I don't.
:yeahthat;: even with longer gears than stock (4.3 fd with z3 gears) I can break traction in third if it's slightly cold out, the tires aren't fully warmed up yet, or it's even slightly damp.
For all those continually stock piling parts but not really getting to finish and enjoy the build, I highly suggest you just finish it with what you have and go enjoy it! These cars/motors are so damn fun boosted! No reason to get all caught up in making it the *best* possible setup on paper because there is always something better coming out.
:wavey: mine is working
Just get it finished! Enjoy it! Add the upgrades later if you want...
Yeah I mean on the drag strip.

You forgot about us show queens....
My car will never see the drag strip. It will only be on the street occasionally and spend most of its time on road courses and driving events.
Its kinda funny how all of us are pretty much in the same area....MD, DEL, and Virginia.
Its a cx racing kit right?^
All this talk has me excited. Need to buy the rest of my turbo stuff!
Chat is on point today
I could also use a little mexican to stop working on mercedes and start helping out.....
