Have you ever driven a turbo k20 with a GT30? My setup has amazing response extremely little lag. And it's nothing fancy. Sure on paper the twin scroll is better, but I bet you would hardly feel a difference in then car with a turbo as small as the GT30.Quote:

Honestly from my experience in going to disagree. At the track, in assuming by track you mean drag strip because none of the turbo setups here are appropriate for road tracks, I launch with slicks at 6000epm, the turbo spools instantly as I pop the clutch. You are shifting so fast and can power shift every shift other than into 2nd (on a stock trans) thus making the turbo hardly lose any boost between shifts. I doubt it would even make a 10th of a difference on a drag strip with a turbo like a GT30. Now for something huge like a 6767 or GT42/45 or any of those monster turbos it would probably help some, but still be rather marginal. And other than you and a few others on here, most of these cars are street cars first intended to be enjoyed, and you don't get much enjoyment looking at numbers on paper, at least I don't.Quote:

My car will never see the drag strip. It will only be on the street occasionally and spend most of its time on road courses and driving events.
