They are base rsx gears and I never had the case. I bought it as just the 5 speed, no final drive as well.

Put the motor on the engine stand tonight. Lubed the cylinder walls now just waiting on my oil pump, head gasket, timing chain tensioner and gears. Then the old motor will come out and the trans disassembled. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/01/02/ury9yzyd.jpg

That motor is sleeved right? What are the rest of the specs?

That's convenient your stand fits right inbetween your cars. I have that same stand and if I have to work on a car in he garage I gotta take it out of the garage, small garages suck.

Well the stroke is the oem stroke so really it's just a k24.5 lol
