Thanks dude. I'm super excited. Lol And I had a front mount on my old setup just nowhere near as big or efficient as this is. Can't wait to see the side tanks finished finally With wastegate and BOV mounted.

Ok so I received my rims for my slicks and was really shocked. They weigh 20lbs each with no tire on. so that's a no go. So I sent them back and downgraded to these wheels instead. :(

I also picked this up from the same guy (a friend of mine)

i put together 3 of those S2K cluster swaps... pain in my ass lol
Wanna do mine? What all did you have to do as far as the ect fix and gas gauge and speedo?
Fmic is complete. Along with the charge piping.
We had to cut the supercharger outlet and weld on a cast 90* to get it to the back door of the fmic.
I didn't get the opportunity to take any pics but as soon as I get them I'll upload.
Also ordering the oil cooler Monday or tuesday so it will be in this week and installed upon arrival. Car can then fire up and do a few warm up procedures. An break ins. Then it's dyno time in about a week or 2. The build is finally nearing an end.
Wow Adam its been a wait for ya but I bet ya cant wait to get behind the wheel
That's awesome man! Nice S2K cluster, and no worries about the wheels. Function>Form all day long.
Thanks man. The dash I've seen in DIY's and from what spaz was saying, it's a bitch. Lol. I'm gonna get the plug n play harness from wire-worx an their all in one converter box. Should make life simple.
And I was joking about downgrading to different wheels. Lol my new wheels are 1/2 the weight of the summit wheels. I paid 200 total for my old wheels. These new ones are 2 times that each lol. But I got them for a steal from a friend so I was thankful for the hook up. Now I'm going to get them powdercoated purple centers and black barrels. The screws will be purple as well. Can't wait till its all completed.
The FMIC is complete. Ordered the oil cooler on Tuesday should be here tomorrow. Along with another bottle of sx100 traction fluid. Most expensive oil ever. ($100/qrt) http://i823.photobucket.com/albums/z...x/0f441e07.jpg

If all goes well the car should hit the dyno next week!!!! Get ready!
Sick! And by traction fluid, is that a traction compound like pimp juice? Because $100 a quart just made my eyes pop. :wow:
Oh, well that's new info to me. Not bad at all, 50k intervals sounds great to me!
Right dude. It's crazy lol.
The oil cooler has been mounted in place. Oil lines to be ran on Monday and warm up procedures to follow. Then it's dyno time!

Wow Adam you just cant get a break on this thing man .I hope they get the blower straightened out for ya man as you must have more patience than anyone I know as I am not sure how i may have reacted to such news lol i hope to see ya at the car show this coming weekend in oc
what happened to the blower(turbo)??
Yea man it has been a rough ride. All in all I think it's gonna be worth it. I'm satisfied with johns work, and I'm just as positive ill feel the same about the tune.
And I can't make it this weekend to the show. I'm gonna get this car on the road. Lol and the goal is to have it 100% by my birthday. July 2nd.
Oh I don't doubt you'll be happy when its done man its gonna be sick bro .I havent driven mine since Dec 8 th and wew I have now gotten to the point where I am so busy working we have only been working on the car a little at time if it would rain more I may be further along but the suns been shining so I've been working a lot I actually think I am gonna go ahead and have the block sleeved and plan on a late summer early fall complete date there are a few more things I want and the longer it sits in the garage the more goodies I'll buy :turbohug: :drooling2:
It's been raining like crazy lately over on this side of the bridge. And yea a sleeved block would give you some piece of mind and a nice insurance. I've got some hurdles to get over with this build now and the she'll be on her way to glory. I'll be seeing you around more once the cars done. Some nice ocean trips are in store.
Good luck with your build as well and keep me updated.
I guess but I untorqued and returned back to spec to see if it made a difference and no. I did not. That doesn't mean it was not over torqued once before and just not has a Lyon issue with that but I contacted the company and they gave me a way around it I guess. So we'll see what happens in a few short days.
Cage is done. Cars back home. Time to get to work tomorrow after work lol
Enjoy...

Lookin good Adam its not everyday ya see an RSX with a roll bar. I love it I also see you did the swing out on the passenger side also I've considered it as my side bar is a lot higher up but hey I figure if they cant get over the bar I probably dont want em in the car anyway Haha no fat chicks !
LMFAO. That's right man. No fat chicks.
And thanks man. I gotta get the swing outs redone. I don't like how they are. Also my dad is a certified weld inspector for NASA and doesn't like the welds. Si he's getting a certified welder for NASA to come and TIG them all up. Gosh it pays off to have hook ups. Lol
adam that looks awesome!!!
love the cage
Thanks man. I'm in the process of painting it now.
I installed the carpet and cut out where the cage comes through. Then removed the carpet so I wouldn't scratch the paint trying to cut It after the cage is already painted. Doing the prep work now.
Will post pics in a. Few hours.
