Trust me, your cars very smart, it only breaks the things it needs upgraded........ Like when I blasted my trans apart what broke? stock axles, open diff, 1st gear, and 2nd gear........ Nothing else broke lol. Final drive was untouched because it knew it was already upgraded and didn't need replacing. The car knew it needed stronger axles, LSD, and a stronger 1st and 2nd :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Can't you just swap the gears in to your case? Or swap an a2 trans?

I know i can swap an a2 trans but it doesnt have the nice final drive that the 05-06 type s transmission has

i believe the 05-06 tranny requires some modification to fit an 02-04
