This is the second time I've heard of people putting in BKR7EIX plugs in on built motors. WTF?! Grab some BKR9EIX plugs, gap to .018-.020 and enjoy. As for if they are scored, I can't help. I have no clue.

Well guys I tore apart the motor and found piston #1 to be scarred up. Here's a few pics of #1 and #2 pistons

dam why??
wow that is intense...
:puke::deadhorse::FUU: Now what?
That lies the issue. I'm not sure what happened. Some say it was lean, some say detonation, some say ring/piston failed.
All in all I have no clue. But what I do know is I will need to go 88-89mm bore which will require new pistons ect.
ouch! :puke:
Damn. This is why I'm afraid to build my motor. I always hear of how shops do poor jobs, accidents like this happening, etc. I wish I knew what to tell you man. Any weak parts in your build?
Definitely no weak links.. which makes this a hard thing to diagnose for anyone I would imagine. And that should be quite a nice build. What hg are you going to go with?
