I've ran a Quaife LSD on my last 3 Hondas.

Is the Quaife a substantial upgrade to the factory Honda LSD?

It may not be some noticeable upgrade over your factory lsd but the warranty and power they rate them to would be a peace of mind type scenario.

not personal experience but my buddy went from the type r dc5 lsd to a quaife and said it was noticeable diff but not like night and day omg, like pete (adam) whatever you want to call him said its more of a piece of mind thing imo

Anyone can call me Adam. Pete came about as an alias when I was going through court issues about child custody and I didn't want my name over YouTube with My car Street racing. So I took on the name Pete to conceal myself.

A buddy of mine said "I went from a Quaife in my RSX to an MFactory helical in my Si. I honestly wish I got the MFactory the first time around, because they're both great quality with lifetime warrantys but you save $$ with the MFactory."

Ya that's kinda what I've gathered from the reading I've done. Although for now I'll probably stick with the factory LSD, it seems to work rather well, and will save me $600+

A coupe were good. But not like past super bowls.

And it's at a stand still. Need to order a new case which is $257.00 on top of the bearings in the other half of the trans.

Sorry to hear that Adam always something but it could be worse I suppose .I need to dig thru a few ep3 transmissions I have and put together a spare one to have ready .

The only good thing I can see about this is at least it's the trans case and not the clutch case. The clutch case is like $600 IIRC.
