I thought it would be good if everyone shared their dyno sheets so we can all see the results please include if it's turbo or supercharged and some minor details about it .

I'll start us off with Three different plots from the past few years from beginning to most recently .

1st dyno is from May 2011 it is an unopened k20z1 with ARP head studs , kelford 179-b cams , supertech springs ret and seats and a full race t4 ts manifold and a Garrett gt35r with twim mvr wg its a crappy pic but put down 585/414 on c16 on 26 lbs this graph was a before and after cams comparison

http://i540.photobucket.com/albums/gg360/nextproject97/EG/IMAG0215-1.jpg

Next is a pretty recent graph (March 2013) on 93 oct pump gas on 18 lbs now with the addition of sleeving the block ,87mm 10:1 compression ratio cp pistons , manley tt rods ,acl bearings still running the 35r dotted line is pump gas made 556/ 382 on 18 lbs solid is c 16 made 650/440 24 lbs of boost

http://i540.photobucket.com/albums/gg360/nextproject97/2013%20eg%20hatch/DynoPlot2013_zps349bc304.jpg

Since then I had an over rev and have had to rebuild this time 87.5 mm went back with the same set up and same 10:1 comp but pulled the Kelfords after some thought and installed the z1 cams and here is a dyno just on the Wastgates / 8lbs I'll post the latest graph once the tune is complete which should be soon

E dyno 8 lbs

http://i540.photobucket.com/albums/gg360/nextproject97/2013%20eg%20hatch/edynoonwg_zpsede0c83d.png

We are now on 20 lbs of boost on pump gas and finishing the tune via data log I will be posting the most recent graph in the near future as the car is a beast on the street :turbohug:

Well I really don't know yet the Kelfords have good mid range but I have heard some bad stuff about the Kelfords so I decided to go with the z 1 s .I have recently purchased yet another set of turbo cams and will be installing them in the near future .

damnn!!! over 430hp on 8lbs??!!?!?... makes me wonder what I am going to make on 8lbs. I'm almost done with my build. I have a fully built sleeved 11:1 k24 with a z1 head. stock cams with supertech springs retainers and vavles. I went with a bwr sidewinder and a GTX3582r. I just installed my MVR today I put the 8lb spring in it. Wonder what it will make and how it will feel on 8lbs. what do you think?

e dyno.. shivers :P

The e dynos are said to be pretty accurate but this is the first time I've had one. Vit did say the weight of the vehicle must be correct for it to work .I should actually make more power now than I did in March as I now have a more thorough tune , bigger bore cyl's and am running a little more boost on pump gas this time .I may also end up on a roller dyno or dynapack just to compare #'s as well and post that up too when done tuning this time.

I would suggest using the 3 psi spring in your gate and getting a 4 port solenoid to control boost. You will have severe traction issues in first and second gear on an 8 psi spring.

Damn that's some power!

I'll post up my measly power graphs. All are bone stock k20z3:
Here is my previous log manifold setup, IWG GT3076 on pump gas:
http://edyno.mycarisslow.com/graph/view/50278428_0_502784283ef9d5.88629030

http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m605/almk/IMAG0073_zps04c050fd.jpg?t=1348403555
Same setup on c16:
http://i1134.photobucket.com/albums/m605/almk/503c0b26_0_503c0b26397046.png

Current turbo setup, t3 sheepey manifold, GT3076, recirculated EWG:
~11 psi, pump gas:
http://edyno.mycarisslow.com/graph/view/523b831e_0_523b831ee7f630.67846402
13-14 psi:
http://edyno.mycarisslow.com/graph/view/5243b323_0_5243b32320c877.35175256
~16 psi:
http://edyno.mycarisslow.com/graph/view/52482a01_0_52482a01235fb7.56690256
Log setup went 13.2 on half finished race gas tune on street tires, definitely had more in it, but never got a whole lot of seat time at the track with it. Current setup went 12.044 at 119 on pump gas with slicks. Has more in it as well, but had to pull motor out as it is making a bottom end noise.

Thanks Andrew and I Agree on the wg spring as I have wheel spin issues in 1st and 2 nd but it just makes ya "drive it"/ back pedal lol after talking with you and snizz I bought a 4 port from Vit and I just got two new waste gate springs. The lowest spring they have/make for the Tial MVR's is 4.3 lb http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.velocityshop.com/images/products/1354350119-tial-mvr-springs-chart.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.velocityshop.com/product/tial-44mm-v-band-wastegate-silver_1277.html&h=338&w=767&sz=129&tbnid=-96YC6PEXiifOM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=204&zoom=1&usg=__4tin_RlsVwzrswE9DaH4BNj0hlA=&docid=AYDy7pH1No9VFM&sa=X&ei=oQh9UubpMeXh4APko4DYCA&ved=0CD8Q9QEwBAso I got them as well as a set of BC stage 2 turbo cams to try out and I'm told I'll like them but I probably wont find out til Jan or Feb when I install them .

On Tial's site they have a couple different charts for WG springs. It's actually a tad confusing, but I think they have a 3 psi spring for the MVR based on this:
http://tialsport.com/documents/MVSprings2.jpg
You'll see that the green spring is .2 bar for the MVR which is 2.9 psi. But they also have this chart:
http://tialsport.com/documents/MVRspc.png
So there is some conflicting info there

NEVERMIND!!!!

I see what's happening here. The chart you posted, and the second chart I posted is a guide to tell you how to get desired boost levels. For example, if you look at the .5 bar section of your chart, it has both the green and red spring. What this is saying is you need both of those springs in the gate to make .5 bar be your opening pressure. The chart's lowest single spring it lists is in fact NOT the smallest spring available from tial. This make sense? If you want the smallest possible you want to use just the small green spring which is .2 bar for the MVR and ~2.9 psi.

I called ATP Turbo to order mine and thats what they told me was the lowest spring pressure the make for the MVR s a 4.3

I'm a little confused. Why would I want such a low psi spring in the waste gate? Also what's the advantage of having the 4 port? I have a 3 port right now? I just got the car running today. Have a bit of street tuning to do before I hit the dyno. Just to give you an idea of my setup its a bwr Mani with a single 44mm mvr tial, running a gtx3582r.

The lower pressure spring allows you to run less boost in order to help keep traction in 1 st and second gear especially where traction would normally be the biggest issue on say an 8 or 10 psi spring .The 4 port allows for both better spool time and the ability to run the lower wg spring and still be able to make the desired amount of boost up top .I have not yet installed mine but will be in the near future .I am looking forward to the added benefits of both the lower springs and the 4 port solenoid .Make sure you share that dyno graph for us to see once your tuned.

OK gotcha. Thanks for the advice. And I sure will post the graph once I get everything sqaured away. Which 4 port should I go with ? And how would i run the boost lines ?
