No problem bro. I did all 4 because it can read the difference between side to side and front to back that way. Allows for cornering and straight line use.

Dual hangers depends on the setup. We don't currently have the ability to fabricate new hangers, but we may be able to offer ones already made. What did you have in mind? Fuel lines & fittings are a part of the kits!

We've contacted K-Tuned, we're trying to make things work. In the mean time, we are currently looking at other options - such as Hybrid Racing. If you have any suggestions, let us know.

So anyone with experience building a bottom end I need some advice. I need to decide to assemble the bottom end myself or have the machine shop do it for me for $350. I do not have all the fancy measuring tools like dial indicators so I would have to use the plasti-gauge stuff. What are you guys' thoughts? How accurate is the plasti-gauge? Worth it to just have the machine shop do it? I've been leaning towards assembling it myself as I think it would be fun and save me $350, and I'm very meticulous so I know it would be done as perfect as it could be with the tools I have available - really the only limitation I see is the plasti-gauge's accuracy.

Lmaoo. I'll be updating it as soon as everything comes in. That way it's productive. But it's my Davies Craig ewp. It acts as the thermostat so you don't need one. And it's a good way to go for those rotrex ppl like me 04carboncivic and SAX JONZ who have to mount the blower where the ac compressor goes and can't use the ktuned ewp kit. I can control what temp my car runs at with the push of a button.

@ aLmk Plastigauge has been around longer than all of us and has been used for many years in many engines .I have used it several times and have now built two k 20 s using it .However it needs to be used properly . If you have never built an engine then the 350 may be well spent .

Can't imagine that is very good for engine or the family jewels. I can't wait till the next meet. I am so going to make it there one way or the other. Long drive but I think mileage well spent.

Depends which kit you've got. Ktuned block off plate I'd drill and tap a hole. If your going Davies Craig then I recommend to ktuned thermostat housing.

I'm definitely in for one and before end of next session probably a set of bullet proof gears and new syncros. Paint and body is next up after a great set of track coilovers. And...since that three inch pipe hands so low possibly an oval midpipe.

To my knowledge the recirculation hose is there to prevent the head from boiling before the thermostat opens. But with these pumps they flow enough and you don't have a thermostat to cause the issue that you don't need it. Don't quote me unless I'm right.

What was the main reason for upgrading to the EWP? I'm assuming it isn't to free up a pulley haha. From what I understand through your couple posts, your not relying on the engines rpm to determine how much coolant flow your getting from the mechanical pump.

BOOOOOOOOOOM! You are correct. Better control over my coolant tempos period plus it will run the pump after the car is cut off to prevent heat soak then it will cut off automatically.

Yea I know the feeling. But the debt isn't worth the parts. I'm being semi hypocritical because I will be taking a smaller loan for the gears this winter. I just can't go another season without them. I've spent all this year dealing with transmission related issues...... But Not next year.

Man I gotta get started on this build, but I haven't had time. I gotta start early this year to be ready in time for some more shows. I'm going to enjoy the holidays as much as possible. Once 2014 hits, things start. I gotta really dedicate the time before I can't do it much anymore. Hows everyone else's builds going at this point?

Well I'm tinted too but my windows are often down so they still see the 10 point I'm only at 20% on the fronts and 5% on thee rears so right now they can still see in with my windows up .One thing though I have 5% tint all around on my truck and you gotta watch that shit after dark it's hard to see pedestrians and stuff .

I love tinted windows always have and think it's messed up that the state can tell you it's illegal in some states or the amount that they allow pecentage wise .

The BoostedK20 Si has 5% all around, and 12" on the top of the windshield. At night with the windows up, all you do is hug the steering wheel. Can't see anything. Beauty is pain ;)

My civic is the same as your hatch, and I still think it's a little tough to see at night, particularly making left turns at inter sections with no street lights or poor lighting. I would imagine 5% up front would be so tough to drive at night, part of the reason I decided to go with 20% up front.

Fortunately DE allows you to get a medical waiver :D
