How much were the wisecos? Because JE has some really nice asymmetrical pistons available now that is 'new technology' in the sense that they figured out a way to make an asymmetrical piston strong enough for boosted applications. The pistons are lighter and stronger than a traditional full round skirt piston. I got my set of JE's for like $640ish if the wisecos are close in price it may be something you want to consider, just throwing it out there. You plan to do anything to the head?

I'm just changing quick and heading out but I will look up the price. The company threw me a nice package deal going through them.

Nikon powerrrrrr nice pick up! Details and how did you choose the Nikon?

I debated for HOURS at Best Buy with the sales guy between the D3200 and the Canon EOS T3I. In the end price was a big factor but specs were of course on the top. I tried asking lots of people and that's just a disaster as everyone has their opinion and it's just their opinion. . . The Nikon came in an impressive bundle box deal. I got the D3200 camera, two lenses and the bag for $530 bucks! The Canon with one lens and no case was $575. So I'm already up one lens and a bag for less money. The megapixels are higher on the Nikon, it offers wiFi, Remote photo capabilities a couple other nice features. I then opted to buy a short ranged fix lens for all my fun close up pics.

The one main option I wish the Nikon offered that the Canon does is the touch screen flip out adjustable LCD screen. It's a great option as you often take shots reaching over your head or down super low and with an adjustable screen you can see exactly what you're shooting at.

Good power! I'm surprised you're not making more at 16psi with a 6262 on e85 though. Str8JDM made 517whp on 17psi with a 5857 IIRC. Regardless, your car is more beautiful than ever and her performance surely follows suit! What's next on the list?

Well shortly I'll be making the 8 hour drive to Kentucky for Import Alliance. My car though has no AC as I pulled it for my tuck... I'm taking my GF this year and so we, yes I let her do this DIY with me, made a poor man's AC. They say on average it is good for around 6 hours. So I can easily make a quick stop at any gas station and buy more ice and keep it going.

So here is what I'm using. 5 gallon bucket, 5 gallon styrofoam liner, 2" PVC Couplers (x3) 2" Hole Saw, Drill, Mini fan and silicone sealant.

Boom you're done. I plan on running a frozen milk jug of water inside the styrofoam. But you can use anything you want. A bag of ice will work just fine. The milk jug will just be easier to contain the water once it melts.

I have a digital thermometer I will test this out on a hotter day. But we put it in the backseat and sat in the garage with it on and you could definitely tell a difference. Obviously not perfect like the factory AC but when you have none anything is better than nothing.

That is awesome!

What injectors and fuel pump? Do you have a return?

That is awesome!

I'm running 1000cc injectors and 255 walbro pump. I am also running a return line. I called Injector Dynamics turns out the injectors I bought are fake. So with what my tuner says they are probably not spraying as well as they should acting more like 800s than 1000s. I'll be swapping them out with 2000cc and a dual fuel pump setup.

They make the same fan with cigarette lighter plug but in this case I have a power inverter I am using for 12v

The ID injectors I bought used have an extra SN hand engraved into the injectors and when I had them cleaned and flow tested by ID they didn't tell me they were fake. Do yours have the extra SN?

yeah... so in the garage testing it worked fine... in the real world the fan was just not powerful enough and it didn't do shit... I need a much much more powerful fan.

And yes the gasket is just to help cushion/protect and keep water out of the screw holes going into the side pieces I assume.

I apologize and it's a new camera and my shop fan was turned on and holy crap it picked up that noise horribly! I actually made a comment to my GF that I want to take it all apart to redo the video and she about killed me :rotfl:

Anyways, here's my quick video. Took me around 4 minutes to pop that transmission into place.

They say a good fully ported manifold can make up to 20hp. You're removing the step in the manifold with a larger TB and I smooth it out to optimize and increase air flow.

Should see the work I did for Dan. I went all out on that bad boy.

Just came across a youtube vid you posted while trying to figure out why your boost gauge read vac but not boost. What ended up being the cause? I have the same issue

Was a bad power wire. The power wasn't a constant 12v during ignition so the gauge was resetting while the car was turning over making for a misacurate reading.
