"Those who are great never die. They live life after death." Figured this would be a cool topic for a thread. You can talk about any person/car/bike/whatever. From Carol Shelby to Babe Ruth. Doesn't have to be vehicle/motorcycle related. Can be someone well-known or not-known.

I'll start:
Tobie Cook (aka sh33t_of_p4p3r) was a member of 8thcivic that passed away in 2009 from several cancers. It spread from his stomach to his lungs and heart - and quickly. His wife, daughter, and son's lives were changed forever, as well as the reat of his family. Tobie was a great person. His whole family loved his FA5 as if it were a part of the family. And it was.

After he passed, his wife Rachel started posting from his username with her thoughts, prayers, and life updates. The forum as a whole was there for comfort and help during the tragedy. We all donated to help with the funeral and other things, and the forum owner sent it to Rachel. She was beyond thankful, you could just tell - and it was only text on a screen. She posted pictures occasionally too:

I never met Tobie in person. I remember he used to PM me all the time about how he couldn't wait to one day turbo his Si. It wasn't only for him, it was for his whole family. They all would've loved it as much as he did. He used to ask me a bunch of questions, always crackes jokes, and was a very positive person. He posted a poll back in 09 about whether he should let cancer take over his life, or get a full I/H/E and crack VTEC and say "Fuck You!!" to the cancer gods. Needless to say, it was both funny and a very successful poll. The latter won.

He constantly followed my build thread, unfortunately he passed before my build was completed. With that said, I decided to dedicate my turbo build to Tobie.

This brings tears to my eyes. Just imagine a father, husband, best friend, and son suddenly taken from them. I know he's up there watching over his family and keeping them safe. RIP Tobie, you'll never be forgotten. ♥

Took a road trip with the ball and chain on Friday and Ironically this thread brings up what came up.

First of all, R.I.P to my best friend Zachary Wulf. You will forever be in my heart and in my families prayers.

He had several surgeries on his back. Long story short his medication was to strong. He fell asleep and never woke up. He went peacefully in the end but he will forever be missed.
