What is your favorite turbo? Respond with what you chose in the poll and why. It doesn't have to be the turbo that you have, just your preference. Let's get some discussion going!

I would choose Garrett because of their reputation (ball-bearing) and because I have one, but I choose Borg Warner because of they are top-rated turbos out. Especially the new EFR turbos :drooling:

Precision for great, budget quality, Borg Warner if you live at home still. If you don't, buying one of these will force you to move back in with your parents. Great awesome wonderful quality, but you pay for it.

Borg Warner first because they went out on a limb and designed a turbo specifically for aftermarket turbocharging and put the best of every technology we already had on turbos and added the new titanium-aluminum turbine wheels. This is a something hopefully we will see in more turbos... one day lol...

Precision 2nd which is what ill be running. 5857 BB billet ftw!

Garrett because I have heard of to many precision failures and had one Garrett and think they build quality stuff .Also tell me of a factory car that runs a precision ? Auto manufactures want a product to last thats why they run Garrett

Precision here. Love my 6265. Had a garett 60-1 and needed a rebuild after 1 summer :(. My turbonetics lasted longer

Isn't an AGP a hybrid?

AGP is like an SRT-4 thing. They built the turbo for the low revving 2.4 so I assume it could do great for the K series I would think.

Oh that's right. Str8JDM used to have a neon srt4, thats why it sounds familiar. Thanks

I had a garett 60-1 USED and didnt have any problems with it. It sounded badass with the antisurge on it. I sold it and picked up a low mileage precision 6265 DBB, and it was good for a little bit until the seal on the exaust side started leaking oil. :( So i need to fix that, or ditch it and try out a Borg. Maybe s400sx? :P haha JK!

I love my precision it's just a journal bearing but it has given me 0 issues what's so ever.

I love my GT3076, never given me an issue, sounds awesome while spooling, and has great response for street driving.

I would have voted Borg Warner but they are out of my price range and I've never used one... I am however on my 3rd Precision turbo and have always had good luck with them. I love my 6262 on my K24 setup. Spools up great and holds power throughout my power band. Love it.

Garrett for me, they pioneered a lot of the technology most of these companies try to copy. Not to mention the superior build quality of their turbos.

Well i voted for PTE, and my reason follows:

For one i went boost back in 2010, and ever since day one i have owned 3 of their turbos,

PTE 5857 .63AR
PTE 6031 .63AR
PTE 6266 .82AR

All 3 turbos have been journal bearing and never failed me.

Borg warner EFR hands down! The EFR range is head and shoulders above their competition..

For me there is more to a turbo than the peak hp it will make,, the Efr range does the top end stuff and everything else too. Most of the other names can only manage the power part. Precision and garret are still relying on old technology and materials.. That's fine for big power. But not great for everything else
