Yes thats a tiny garage however I live in London, so space is short.

May as well drop some JDM cams in and get the lash adjusted:

Nice lotus and sick build. Has the car been dyno tuned as of yet? I'm interested in your numbers.

Nice shots and build! What's left to complete your build? Also, what will you be using for tuning?

Not a lot to do, mainly getting body etc back on and testing etc.

I am in love. A buddy was just talking about getting one today and turbo k-swapping it. Do you know anyone with turbo k-swaps that could join up and post some info over here? Maybe just take info from a Lotus forum and post it here so it can be used? (Since this is a k-series only forum)

sub'ed this is an awesome build. I am guessing the mounts your using totally eliminate engine movement? Because it looks like the blower is damn near the firewall!

N00T
02-25-2013, 02:12 PM
yeah blower is close but I made up a box to give it some space:
https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/muupublic/forum/jrsc/panel.jpg

Also front and rear tq steadies are rose jointed block side with a small bush chassis side:
https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/muupublic/forum/jrsc/uprated+rear+mount.jpg

Thats cool, I like the firewall expansion. And the tq steadies, what a sixk idea! More info and pics on those please

Looks great! However, N00T, I very strongly suggest change that foam filter out for a regular paper filter. It has been known to, multiple times in the past, actually get sucked up in pieces through your intake.

N00T
03-05-2013, 04:18 PM
oh I'll have a look into that

there was a BMC CDA box on there before but that was robbing power even in N/A trim - 3hp from 8k onwards.

not really engine related but got my hands on this seat as the stock ones and harnesses aren't great:

That seat is AWESOME!! I wanted some cf seats but the price range is a little high on them for me. Haha

N00T

Seat is the double carbon reverie (they do one that's GRP backed) and tickles the scales at 2.4KG.

Main thing for me is that it's mega low, and more supportive than stock. One day might buy the passenger one.

Done loads to the car but non of it worth taking pictures of just yet.

so at the mappers at the moment, little drama with the MAP sensor but hopefully it'll get on the rollers (hub dyno) and good numbers

snizzletoff
03-22-2013, 07:05 AM
Whats the issue with the map sensor?

N00T
03-22-2013, 07:47 AM
Hondata bug when you select 'replacement map sensor' channel then reads zero until engine is cranking.

Anyway just off the rollers at 329.0@hubs

Very happy
