It's a 46mm that fits with 44mm flanges. Dopeness. Lots of locals run then, great gate. AND the nut/bolt for the vband clamp has a recess for the bolt, so you don't need to use two wrenches when tightening or loosening. Not a big deal for you, Mr. HugePurpleEngineBay. But it's a great feature. Appreciate it. Appreciate!

Tial has gotten pricey recently and it's funny how Precision, possibly the biggest seller of Turbos, can sell a slightly bigger product for much less. :-)

I also like the fact that they include a variety of springs and directions on how to pair them together to reach a target gate pressure.

I wouldn't know about the new Si's but i have heard of them using the SRT CNC Dual Pump setup, most of the cars at Humble that use dual pump setups or crazy Fuel systems are 91-99 models the newer model clients havent wanted to go "fast" yet LOL

the way it works is the -10 feed line pulls from both pumps at the same time and then it return fuel on the -8 no dual lines required :yay:

Well, I do! VHT wrinkle black works very well. Make sure the parts you're coating are metal. Follow the directions on the can. 1st coat: heavy; horizontally sprayed. 2nd coat: heavy; vertically sprayed. 3rd and final coat: heavy; diagonally. Then, immediately put in the oven for 20 minutes at 200*f. Then let cure somewhere not the inside of your home, itll take 48 hours to properly cure. Now you know my secret. ;)

I was messing with the car last night and started a list of things I need to get worked out, aside from the list my mechanic has to get it running.

-Get the interior done
-Touch up the engine bay
-Cut the hole in the hood
-Cut the exhaust and dump pipes to fit

I'll be making a subtle change to the Turbo, I found someone who has an H Cover for a 67mm and I neeeeeeds it LOL

Not doing a strut price since the exhaust up pipe will be going up through where the bars would be.

I was thinking to put the BoostedK20.com decal above my La Gallina Industries banner on my windshield.

I hadn't really thought of the socks.

I'm going to order the center mount for the FPR guage since it won't clear as it sits right now.

The car isn't THAT low, but once I get the slicks on it, we'll see how low she sits ;-)

Ah, the exhaust will look sick though! Any specific design/style you're going for? And yea that would look good, it's big though. Would be a great spot! Socks aren't a bad idea, or Wilwood or other reservoirs, but sucks are much cheaper lmao. And the center mount for the rail? Or same spot but center mounted?

No particular style, just the best route from the turbo and then up.

I had given the Wilwood Kit some thought but not yet.

The center rail mount is for the guage only, K-Tuned sells the mount, it's like $50.

Ordered some wheels *say what you want about Rep Wheels, i'm not trying to spend $2k on some wheels unless they're for the track LOL

Front: 15" XXR 531s +0mm Offset w/ 235-60-15 BiasPly M&H Street Master
Rear: 15" XXR 531 +20mm Offset w/ Whatever Tires LOL

The Parts from K-Tuned should be here by next week along with the wheels and tires

We have a slew of goals with this car, the Ultimate Goal is the DOT Record, but building up to that, we want to make it as efficient as we can make it. As in, while using BBG and TC in tandem, along with the 4 port and possibly switching out to a BW EFR Turbo later on, we really want to make this as close to perfect a FWD street car can get.

Sooooooooooo, i'm thinking that my manifold is the root of my creep issues... i have one more test to do, to see if it really is the problem, if that is the case i have a two options...

A - Sell my manifold and buy a new one
B - Modify my manifold to work correctly

I was thinking something like this but not all out, more so placing the turbo slightly in front of the transmission and possibly trading or selling my intake manifold for a centerfeed to make it all fit :-)

I like the idea in theory but after doing all the math, i'm better off just leaving it alone as it is for now and working on the boost settings and tune, the problem should be there i think, because i have friends with similar setups without the issues i have so i think i need to just do a couple of logs and see what's going on.

Well.... i finally got the transmission back on LOL and i'm getting everything else bolted back on, i do however need to find a pair of stock headlight harnesses for an eg -____-

I have a very strong feeling the tune and boost settings will not fix your problem. I went through this, and those things do not fix a physical problem with the manifold. Also, just because it works for someone else doesn't mean it will necessarily work for you; I am speaking from experience. Best of luck with everything.

You could always run a manifold like the JDL wastegate priority manifold to help ease the creep issues. It would allow you to easily run a pipe from the mani to a front mount turbo.

But I guess its worth a shot of the tune asjustment first, although I'd go straight to the souce: manifold

I don't understand why every manifold isn't 'wastegate priority' it's practically the most important part. If you can't properly control boost, then you just have a ticking time bomb. If you ever look at good v8 turbo setups on race cars, they are all 'wastegate priority' in the sense that there is always a very straight forward flow into the wastegate and the wastegate neck is always after the merge collector. I'm going back and forth on that, i may end up getting it before i put the car down for winter rest at the end of the season and deal with the car as it sits right now for the time being

That's the manifold i'm considering, if not i may just go Gangsta Lean, i have a whole year to figure out which one i'll go with.

But I guess its worth a shot of the tune asjustment first, although I'd go straight to the souce: manifold

Yea, me and the other two guys helping me with the car have been going back and forth, i think we all know what HAS to be done, but my wallet doesn't have the coin to make it happen now so i'll probably have to wait a little bit, and go with what i have for now.

Update!

Sold my PLM and replaced it with a T4 Turbo Elements K Series Sidewinder Manifold (http://www.turboelements.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=63_99&product_id=214)

Had him relocate the WG Flange to the rear of the manifold to be able to access the wastegate easier
