In the past 3 weeks i've been keeping my eye on a new program (Ktuner) thats being released through the same company that brought Neptune to B series. This system is suspose to be sub $500 and as low as $295.

I believed this would be a game changer and swing more people into swapping Ks into DC/EG/EK etc.

NOW, Hondata has dropped their retail price on kpro by $300

Wonder if this is because of ktuner and they dont want to lose business?

All i know, i was switching to the AEM v2 and selling my pro for 900 bucks, guess thats not going to happen now :confused2:

Now if only hondata would lower their price on the TC system, id stay with hondata

Interesting... definitely a hurt for anyone who was trying to sell Kpro! lol

But I don't think they are scared... they have literally be one of the ONLY people to be able to tune the K series (minus AEM) and so now that there is another competitor they finally have to be more competitive... lol

you could always switch to AEM v2 (before the retail price drop) , pick up a xenocron abs sensor kit and have the trac control on the v2. More work then the hondata one, but works good.

i cant justify their price point on the system, maybe if it was $450-500 range id consider.

Hondata has the cleanest and easiest install on all the Acura/Honda vehicles and their support for my feature requests has been top notch, so I'll keep on supporting them.

I would never install an AEM EMS on a Honda. If you want to go stand alone route, go with a legit stand alone. The AEM EMS is garbage.

thats your personal opinion. I wouldnt consider AEMv2 and especially the AEM infinity garbage.

but dont get me wrong, both work well and will do what you need. but both can be considered junk if not tuned properly. You basically need to find a good tuner and use what they recommend.

If i had the choice, i would ditch kpro for aem v2
