Many people have been asking me for pictures of my manifold, so I figured I'd just make a thread to make life easier. Originally designed on Roger's Si (07civicmd), also known as the Swift Racing Technologies (SRT) shop car owner, I am the second owner of this manifold. Roger was the record-holding highest horsepower Si with this manifold, before they made their next kit (which is what he uses on his car now). What made it appealing to me was the fact that it's a top-mount manifold. At the time, sidewinder manifolds weren't made for Si's. (Companies that tried said it would be impossible to fabricate correctly given the minimal space between the firewall and cowl plate. Time proved that to be wrong.) So, I wanted the turbo to be seen with the hood up, and I couldn't achieve that with a bottom mount manifold.

I am the second owner of this manifold. Once Roger swapped over to the new manifold and made even more power than before, I needed to have this one. Here she is:

Did you ever fix your boost creep?

I have boost creep because of the divorced wastegate setup from the turbo. It used to spike to 19psi on a 4psi spring, now it's down to 11psi. Hopefully, with some motivation over the winter, I'll take out the turbo a third time and redo it correctly. If I can get down to a 7psi creep I'll be happy. Just as a note: The creep is not due to the manifold. The manifold has no wastegate port. This is due to the hot side.

So you need a different turbine housing? Or an efr turbo :p

Nope, the hot side I use is a Ford 5-bolt internal/external wastegate housing.

Bored the hole out, but I directed the flow in the opposite direction, partially because I rushed and mostly because it was 4am and I was dead tired. Didn't realize till I put everything back together and did a test run. Debated getting an EFR, but I love the sound of open wastegate :turbohug:

Late spool of an EFR turbo is an oxymoron
