Hey Guys, My boosted k24a2 build is still under construction. Most of the first pics are of the car last summer with the turbo'd k20a3. My new motor is still on the stand but hopefully it will be in the car by the end of the weekend if I can find the time. Its come a long way since 02
I will get some updated pics up soon, but not much to see right now other than an empty engine bay and a shiny motor on a stand.

Finally got the car all back together and in the process of tuning it right now, it would be done by now if this rain would stop.
A few pics during the install
This is how she sits today waiting for the rain to stop.
Still a little more work to do to clean up the engine bay but its in and running finally.

Look great, what intake manifold is that? And what turbo?

P.S. This is an awesome pic:

Thanks, thats one of my favorite pics of the car. Its a TSX RBB manifold and Emusa T3/T4 57 trim turbo.

:wow: What happened, how, and why?! Were you datalogging?

05-23-2011, 11:37 PM
Not sure yet what happened, I was doing a 3rd gear pull from 2500-6000 and when I pushed in the clutch at the end the car stalled. I got it restarted to get it home but smoke was pouring out of the valve cover vent hole. I was datalogging at the time but it doesn't show anything that would make this happen, I almost felt something let go just after I pushed the clutch in. Compression is way down #1-100psi #2-180psi #3-90psi #4-90psi so that can't be anything good, hopefully its not totally destroyed and can be rebuilt.

It's good you were datalogging, you should post the datalog in the tuning section maybe someone can tell you something. But as per the compression test, you have some serious ish to figure out.
