Would like to introduce my car to everyone as well as some progress of my build.

2002 Acura RSX Type S - Arctic Blue Pearl

Small timeline -
Nov 08 - Purchased stock RSX with body kit, terrible paint job, and OZ Superleggeras.

A year and a half later I hydrolocked the motor after doing some minor bolt on stuff here and there. So I purchased a K24A2 and swapped it in.

May 22nd, 2011 my hometown Joplin,MO was destroyed by an F5 tornado and unfortunately my car was in its path and sustained some body damage, broken windows, etc.

This last summer I decided I wanted more power instead of worrying about repainting the car for the 4th time so it was time to go with boost.

Current Mod List -
K24A2 - 05'
Hondata Kpro
Greddy Turbo Kit
Hondata Boost Solenoid
Hondata 4 bar Map
RBC IM
3" Test pipe to full 3" custom stainless steel exhaust
Vibrant Muffler
RC 750cc Injectors
Blueprint Headstuds
Modified intercooler Piping
etc.

Running 14lbs on a Magnesium E-tune. Haven't seen a dyno yet.

Also have quite a few interior and exterior modifications...

On to a couple pics. Will have a proper photoshoot one of these days.

Prior to turbo

Currently car is up on jackstands I am trouble shooting an oil leak issue that I think is coming from the seal on the timing chain cover around the crank pulley. Also waiting on my new wheels to come in :spaz:

Starting a new job in about a month that doubles what I make now so I've got huge plans for her over the next couple years.

And heres a pic of my daily - 2004 Chevy 3500HD Duramax - Stock besides a sound system, leveled, and 33x11.5 Nitto dune grapplers

Nice build, that's a hell of a truck! At least if your RSX-S goes down, you can just toss it in the back of the DD :thumb:

Welcome to the forum, what are your future plans?

Lol yep it's a long bed too the RSX fits perfect! I'll be moving and buying a house in the next month so the RSX plans are jut to get it reliable to drive almost daily. Diesel gets expensive! Then maybe next summe I'll go with a full race kit and build a motor and tranny and ppgs.

This is the only pics I have that somewhat shows the routing of the piping. And this what when my RBC was white and before I shaved it. Also shows the tornado damaged fender :FUU:

Nope didnt know you had one lol. That was like the first thing I did to my car back in 2008.

I've seen black chrome K series valve covers before. :spaz: And it would stick out like wut in your bay.

Drove the car last night, hit a little boost. Getting a lot of crank case pressure right now though. Going to take my PCV valve out tonight and soak it in brake clean and see if that helps. 2 more days until wheels get here can't wait!

How do you know you're getting a lot of crank case pressure? And what wheels are you getting?

My PCV valve was frozen, I soaked it in brake clean and seemed to help quite a bit. I was having a ton of blow by out of my PCV on the valve cover. It's been one thing after another, about to just start ordering internals and build a motor from scratch.

I'll be posting up pics of the wheels tonight.

Nice! Speaking of polishing... Got a quote today for some stuff. VC - $249, IM - $299, Turbo Compressor housing - $149, BOV housing - $60.

:madd:

I'll stick with my white. Just thought about switching it up a little for some bling.

A little teaser for now. Have a buddy coming by tomorrow that has mastered fender rolling haha he's going to help me fit them a little better. Have 225/45's on there for now temporarily until I have the funds to order the 235/40 NT05's.

Haters gonna hate lol. :wiggle:

Not everyone rocks them in white though.

And where I live NO ONE rocks rpf1's at all. Not worried about the rest of the RSX's on the internet.

I actually was looking at TC105N's but when I had the money for them I decided to go the cheaper route, I'll be moving and starting my new job Feb 1st just found out yesterday so I need to save some money! After a few months at this job though... it's on! :yay:

Haven't updated this bish in a little while. New job is going awesome but I have had zero downtime. Couldn't ever get the thing to run right and decided I had issue in the bottom end.

Pulled the motor in 3.5 hours by myself. New personal record lol

Then it was off to the laptop to order parts!

In the meantime I started doing some work to my bay to clean it up.
Decided I needed to have it resprayed again.

Still have a little more work to do on it.

Wiseco 10.2:1 87.5mm Pistons came in. Also got some Eagle rods and ACL bearings.

Traded in my 04' Duramax for a 2012 Honda CR-Z 6MT. With as much driving as I'm doing now it was stupid paying so much money for diesel. 40+ mpg's is epic.

http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h42/killah_t_129/crz1.jpg

Threw my RPF1's on it for shits and giggles. They are staying on the RSX though.
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h42/killah_t_129/crz4.jpg

Been spending a lot of time mountain biking lately. Another new hobby I picked up that's costing me mod money lol.
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h42/killah_t_129/aaacrz.jpg

That's it for now.

I'll update when I get more parts in (i.e. PLM Manifold and down pipe, Precision billet SC6262, etc etc etc)

Hopefully coming back stronger that ever!

Wow, awesome update. When do you think you'll have the motor back in? Loving the engine bay paint, the custom bracket, and the CR-Z. I want one so bad for a daily driver! Glad to see things are coming together, and I'm very glad to see you'll be going with a 6262 :drooling:

AxelTaylor

If all goes as planned motor should be back in within a week.

I've been doing a ton of reading and for my power goals I'm thinking the 6262 is going to suit me well.
