That manifold looks very close to the PLM sidewinder I have. I could measure mine and you could compare it to yours if it matches there you go PLM sells the 3" downpipe

I'd be skeptical as well to send my parts out to a strange shop I don't know using someones car I don't know other then on the forums. I would understand not wanting to. But since there's no shop close its just what I can offer. The shop is just 15 min from my house and they have some petty dope work.
hahaha
Well I plan on putting my engine in for fun shortly then I'll see what needs to be done, and it may not be fancy or pretty but I know a friend who builds 1000+ V8s who built my battery tray, he is debating helping me build a down pipe and exhaust.

Im on the same bandwagon spaz seeking a DP for my next setup but lucky me i found one on k20a for $150 that was on an RSX and ima scoop it and change the flanges and have it modified to fit my new setup n chassis!!!
I just scored big time! Hybrid Racing hooked me up of course with a proto-type coolant port adapter for the head of my k24a2 for my turbo kit! I'll post pictures later when I get a chance!

I know it wasn't directly asked to me but...
Shifting feels very precise. There is very little flex so when ripping gears your less likely to miss due to cables flexing apart. Also a little tip with cable trans cars is to use heavy duty zip ties and tie the 2 cables together. This will further prevent missing from a flexing set of cables.

I also did make a video of the shifter. I will be uploading that tonight. My first video I forgot to set the camera for HD and it's only in 380p so the quality is not so great. I will be redoing that and uploading it.
As far as a quick over view the shifter is TRULY amazing. It's extremely solid. The feeling in the shifts is just perfect. I have the MTEC race springs and Hybrid Racing shift cables and you cannot beat this combination. The adjust-ability of this shifter is superb. The designed really outdid himself making this the easiest shifter I've ever owned to adjust. The video will explain it all and walk you threw it. I will post up the link tonight!
What kind of shifter is it?
Sorry it is the BRAND NEW HYBRID RACING shifter. The shifter isn't even available on the market yet. But because they love me I got mine already! :)
Sweet! I wonder if they'll make one for the 8th.

They do make one for the 8th gens. I been eyeing it and now that video just sold me on one. Looks so nice. It's definitely on my mod list. Just a little pricy, but what isn't when it comes to quality parts.

That's right man. Quality costs money. And nice video Spaz
Where to begin.......
Installed my passenger side hub and strut
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17180011_zps1317cd87.jpg
Then decided ok I'm going to run all of my battery cables today... So to start I began with focusing on the fuse box and the starter/Alternator lines
This is where I went into the car from the bay
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17122202_zps9184651f.jpg
Started running line inside
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17122614_zps3d7f6626.jpg
From the inside
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17122345_zpsc2d9be10.jpg
Brought the lines through my grommets and past the radiator
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17125153_zps94433506.jpg
Connected starter and alternator leads
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17123828_zps1065b4b5.jpg
Then modified the factory connector so I could complete my fuse box. Put it in a vise
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17135859_zps74aec9db.jpg
Then opened it up
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17141650_zps01d8c99d.jpg
Put my new cable in it and secured it
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17142144_zpsdf3b21d3.jpg
Also ran up the alternator wire
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17132529_zps6b4c2017.jpg
Now test fit them both
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17143557_zpsd77ea329.jpg
Now time to connect them to my battery line. I'm running a 2 gauge and split it. Mounted my splitter
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17145904_zpse5af06da.jpg
Installed my lines

Found my sway bar installed that
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17190220_zpsf3de60e8.jpg

Also installed my Hybrid Racing fuel gauge and mounted the old one on the FPR since I had it
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17174436_zps9d5ca1c4.jpg

and just for fun my radiator hose
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17125815_zps2202b60a.jpg
And then decided to redo my EPS harness since everything else was redone.. here is the mess I started with
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17193853_zpsa6c5e0d8.jpg
Took off all the loom and tape
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17194815_zps5b848a95.jpg
Separated power and ground from the loom so I can run separately and depinned power wire
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17195203_zps88a3b753.jpg
Now make sure you write the pins down.. but de-pinned the plugs
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17202432_zpse919d838.jpg

And then made my own loom and put back together. Much cleaner
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2017%202013/2013-03-17205508_zpsf2f69af1.jpg

Nice updates, figuring out where to mount things is such a PITA sometimes.
man I am spent.... I literally put the rear panels in and out like 50+ times trying to put it all back together....
So I am putting my battery back in the trunk. So today my goal was to mount it and start putting the interior back together... I was getting so frustrated there aren't a lot of photos.
Ran the line to the back and secured it
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18131022_zps5067f6ab.jpg

Bought this battery tray. But it's not level where I want to instal it. So of course I started making a bracket.
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18105226_zps6b713dbe.jpg
this wasn't working fully
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18105608_zps81652cbc.jpg
So I welded a bottom lol
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18113106_zps3149fa83.jpg
Then put it in place in the car and drilled the mount holes
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18121851_zps80d8221b.jpg
And installed a brace washer underneath
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18121450_zpsff05766f.jpg
Then started putting all of my bars and interior together.
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18194732_zps41ef0349.jpg

And my poor front seats lol
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2018%202013/2013-03-18194850_zpsa55a5fe7.jpg
So interior wiring is around 90% finish thank god... my fingers can't take these little clips and shit anymore....
So my big issue was this big fucking wrap my buddy put on the harness. I couldn't get the harness to fit for shit because of it...
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19175713_zps7b75432c.jpg
So I hacked away at it and started cutting it out
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19181537_zpscaf4a2a6.jpg
And removed it completely to expose the wiring which gave me a lot more room to work with!
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19181935_zps0b927842.jpg
Since it's a tucked harness I just wrapped it back up with electrical tape...
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19183438_zps3eb82d4a.jpg
But god damn did it make my life easier!!! Now I ran the harness to the other side for the fuse box
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19191927_zps98925407.jpg
and out the top
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19192300_zps59b297dc.jpg
Boom finished with fuse box!
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19212337_zpsac2c97e3.jpg
Then decided I was going to tuck away my EPS module in the center console
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19214728_zpsc7ed60ff.jpg
Re did the power pin but haven't full finished so I'll leave off here
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/MArch%2019%202013/2013-03-19220150_zpsdc007035.jpg

I'll take a look tonight and let you know what I've got there if anything.
So I finished wiring up my EPS.... put my new power line in the connector and ran it to the module

I then made a new piece for my EPS loom
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2023%202013/2013-03-22194144_zpsf3a2dd33.jpg
added a grommet

Then installed
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/Winter%202011%20Shave-Tuck/March%2023%202013/2013-03-22194252_zps1590f762.jpg

Then finished off my interior... some of you will hate it.. but I was sick of all the mis matched off colors... so I painted all the bars SSM which I'm extremely happy with! I think it's super clean and more subtle... some loved the stand out of the blue but I didn't like all the different shades and colors

Well update*
A good couple of friends spent 9 hours on Saturday and 10 hours on Sunday with two Helms manuals, volt meters, and anything else we could use with our resources with NO LUCK.
I still have one hell of an electrical gremlin somewhere. I have one last hope that a different guy (my tuner) who is apparently an electrical nut said he will come down to look at it this week. If he can't figure it out I am going to just give up, throw in the towel, and part out the car. I've been working on it for a week straight and I'm lost and done. :thud:
Not finished but finally almost there!

Took her to work today!

Ok so no shock but obviously I had some kinks to work out after driving her for the first time...
So back in the air she went
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10171853_zps0be258da.jpg (http://s918.photobucket.com/user/typespaz/media/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10171853_zps0be258da.jpg.html)
The front splitter was getting to heavy and pulling on my bumper causing stress....
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10185951_zps8e98aea3.jpg (http://s918.photobucket.com/user/typespaz/media/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10185951_zps8e98aea3.jpg.html)
So I went to the store and bought some supplies (two sets one for each side)
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10175656_zps1120f540.jpg (http://s918.photobucket.com/user/typespaz/media/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10175656_zps1120f540.jpg.html)
Placed them and put paint on the bottom of the bolt so it would mark where to drill my splitter (one on each side)
http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad22/typespaz/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10180831_zps0f600f83.jpg (http://s918.photobucket.com/user/typespaz/media/splitter%20and%20fender%20pulling/2013-06-10180831_zps0f600f83.jpg.html)
Then bolted her up!

Hey Spaz. I have a question about your clutch line. I bought a -3 line and all that but the thread pitch at the clutch slave is confusing. You had mentioned 10x1.25 in your diy but k20a2 of crsx said 10x1. Figured I'd get a faster answer from you then messaging anyone from there plus you've done it first hand.
Thanks in advance

It was a project finished by a local club for a member/friend who passed away. They went as extreme with it as they could.
