Looks promising!! In for future updates!

I wish it was more promising.

Bringing it home next week. I had Rob Reinen from Proyoonto racing help with my vvc while BT performance in quebec did the rest.

510 and 370 trq at 18psi. It should be more, somethings bottle necking it, but it might be our poopy 91 octane and my complete exaust.

Something is definitely bottlenecking it. Should be making much more. Fuel must have something to do with it. Ever thing about compensating with e85 if around, or meth injection with the added safety sensors and whatnot?

boosted_teg

We have no e85 here, just crappy 91 octane. I dont have a fuel set up enough to support e85. Im sure once the race gas is in, it'll jump up fairly fast.

Maybe the prc-1 head is hurting it. Its a si head. If i had more time and money, id switch to kpro and try for shits and giggles.

brandon wilbur made 750whp on 30lbs/e85. k20a2 stock cams, same turbo as mine

I don't think its too bad. My old k24/20 10:1 wiseco/eagle. Stock a2 head. 60mm h1e made 527@20 psi pump gas

Still looking to push 30psi? Could hit close to 700 on it... no?

boosted_teg
12-09-2015, 12:16 AM
Yip, im going go back to a 4 port. 14psi springs, my 3 port probably wont make it past 30.

im debating whether to put a set of good cams or not. I'll push to whatever it takes.

Rob gained some midrange out of the tune, but can almost tell something is holding it back.

I don't see what could be holding it back? Another guy on here got a Precision 6765, I'm not sure how much of a difference it is with a 6766.. What is your hot side size?

IIRC it's a slightly larger exducer, so it'll make a bit more power. It's also the newer version of the 6765 I think.

As for the limitation, yea what is your hot side turbo size and flange?

Full race t4 divided housing
t4 divided 1.15 exaust housing
Ball bearing

33 psi on my friends k24 made 785whp

they dont make a 6765 anymore, its been replaced with the 6766.

Im going try picking up a set of cams over winter.

My intercooler piping doesnt seem to be the most efficient, curious if that could be an issue. quite a few bends

Sold my wheels and my CF hood. Going with OEM hood and paint match my CF trunk to the rest. Change it up.

Ah, could be charge piping. What's the diameter?

Straight painted OEM color and paint matching the CF trunk. Im looking at enkei black rpf1s in 16s.

as for charge piping, its 3" all the way and 3" to 3.5" into the TB. I do have a lot of piping run, so maybe doing a back door set up with less piping will help.

I did reply to the other thread about what AEM had to say.

Will check that thread next. As for colors and wheels, I love it! And I didn't think that much piping length could prevent boost, only increase lag. Interested in figuring out what the solution/limitation is!

so little update.

i went back to do aem suggestions while it was warm outside. It actually made it worse. The car would run for 15 seconds and die. While running, i disabled the injectors 1 at a time, and all cylinders were firing.

So i hooked up my gf kpro and it would idle. It seemed to have a little miss, but still idled. The air fuel would fluctuate some. I replaced the coilpacks with no difference. (quick basemap without putting in the injector dead times).

almost ready for a part out, found a 91 black nsx with 97000miles for 28k canadian :P

Been in contact with skunk2. I can grab a set of skunk2 tuner 2 cams local, and i wanted to know from them if they would be ideal for a turbo set up like mine. Of course they said it would definetly gain, but said that the ultra 2s would be a huge improvement. Debating wether i should get a set before my next dyno session or not.

took my AFI manifold off, ktuned tb, and all sensors to check everything. I found a small crack on my intake manifold which probably isnt helping.

Probably not helpful at all. Is it repairable? Any idea why it cracked?
