do you have anymore plans for the car?

There's always ideas floating around in my head. lol Originally the plan was to build an all out track car but I love driving the car so much that I decided to build a nice street/race car. Future plans are a Precision 6262 and an inline Bosch 044. With that ill also upgrade the fuel feed line to an 8an. Keeping the 6an return. Looking into a Raptor shift light. Just little things like that. Nothing major. I just bought an 8th Gen Accord that I want to do a few things to also so I might put the Ep on Pause for a few months. lol

yea I feel you. love the car though are you rocking the black wheels (are the xxr 527?) or the silver wheels (what are they?)
I really want to pick up a old clean honda I'm open to several models but really want a EG hatch or a accord wagon, or EP3 then ill work on k swapping it, but not the EP3 but id throw in the motor parts I have laying around, and just DD it and be able to put all my time into my car.

No the XXR's are the old ones. I am currently running the ESM Platinum Edition 007's. Yea Ive always wanted an EK but I cant let my EP go. Ive had the car car for 6 years and it started as my daily. Swapped in the ITR motor and ran it like that until last year when I decided to do a high compression boost build. Motor blew a few months later and then I took the plunge and decided to do a fully built motor. The only thin I didnt touch on the motor were the sleeves and cams. I was only looking for 450-500whp and hit my goal easily. I would say get an EP but i own one so Im a lil biased lol. However I cant begin to tell you how much people sleep on Ep3's. Thats the whole reason I decided on the platform to begin with. Not too many people have built these. They are like the redheaded stepchild of the honda world. lol

i think a simple k24 with 2012+ si pistons and ported head with D.C. 2.2 cams (maybe 3.2) and full bolt on i want to keep it DD-able and really reliable as it will be my family car.

Thanx man. The battery is actually directly behind the passenger side seat. Put it there to make it easier to disconnect if I need to. Eventually I will invest in a smaller race battery and make a custom bracket to hold it in place. If you look closely at some of the pics you can kinda see it.

Yea it's almost like having a battery on/off switch. Except I have a quick release battery terminal so I can quickly get it off if I need to since it's easy to reach.

Word! I see it hiding in there now! That's a good idea because it kinda centralizes its location, so you can route power to anything

A few things had to be cleaned up but the finished results were posted on page one of this thread. Huge thanks to My girl Kathy, her father, and her engine builder for helping me finish this project. Without these three this build would still be sitting. Hope you all enjoyed. Stay tuned for more pics once the summer comes back around. Thank you :vtec:

The head was done by my engine builder Larry at Pro-Motion Race Engines located in East Hanover NJ. The guy does insane work. He does everything himself. A one man team. As far as the manifold goes I would like to upgrade it at some point. I leaning towards the Skunk2 Ultra series manifold and paired up with a 70mm TB and Drag Cartel cams. but that'll be later on. I'm happy with the power the car makes now and I'm spinning through 1st, 2nd, (pretty much non existant) lol and a lil in 3rd so I dunno if its even worth it. lol I guess time will tell. Keep me posted when you post up new pics.

Thanx bro. I know dude. Its crazy to think that your motor is literally brand new lol. The hatch is def one of my favorite parts of the car. The way I see it is everybody guts their cars nowadays but not many take the extra time to remove all the sound deadening material and paint and clear coat the inside. I even took the time to tuck all the tail light wiring that ran across the sides of the hatch in between the inner and outer panels of the car. I wanted it to be functional weight reduction but still turn heads at shows. So with the help of a friend who owns a body shop we made it happen.
