Not sure how that will go as your fuel filter was that nasty

Your tank must of been filthy- I had a little of crap on my intank filter but not nearly as bad as yours.

Your filters speak otherwise man- unless you got some seriously bad batches of fuel. Most of the cars at the shop have been on e85 for years- me being the last to convert last winter, and I have never seen filters as dirty as yours

Trust me it hurts to say it but ford nailed it with the new 5.0 mustang, engine is on point, handling is nice, shifting and clutch are honestly perfectly and you couldn't ask for better. But the camaro ss meh I wasn't a fan at all compared to the mustang, mustang walked it in my rating my a mile. Sti and evo have plenty info on them. BMW 1 series aren't bad starting platforms for a nice street/road car. I haven't driven a stock one but only my boys modded ones and I do like the car, handling is on point and plenty power to get yourself in trouble if pretty modded. But to me it seems they are always having problems with them (maybe beamer problems lol) but idk who knows. Brz and Frs don't waste your time. Only other cars in the top of my book are the new M3's I think the sound of those really won me over by far. Another of my sleepers is the c63 amg benz, I love those cars, power is outta this world and it corners like a damn racecar but its a 4dr luxury car lol. Last on the list is the 370z, my best friends got one (bolt ons, suspension, brakes, tires, etc) so I spend some time behind the seat and even got track time at VIR and Summit Point. Car handles damn great and for a simple build it will do everything you need it to do and still look great doing it. Plus its a nissan so you know the reliability level is up there pretty high.

My roommate has an s2k (ap2) I get to cut up in quite often and honestly I love the car. Its not built or anything crazy either, just intake, exhaust, coils, sways, and a beefy ass rear diff (yes he drifts it on the street all the time and killed the stock diff hahaha). But just like that the car is a shit ton of fun to drive. Is it the most practical for everyday no not at all but when it comes down to you, the car, and the road you will not have any more fun in a simple car like that period.

c63 power really isnt out of this world, it not even at 500 and its a heavy as shit. its a quick car and handles great, sounds amazing but that is about as far as it goes. especially for the price tag.now a black series c63 is a different story but the price is there once again. then again you are also paying for the star (aka the mercedes name)

Thanks- no new mods added, just a new motor to replace the old one that died. It's actually a pretty substantial power drop from the old k24 which made 416/305. I'm not pushing this new setup even remotely close to the old one.

He went all motor, built the motor himself, did a port and polish himself, got it tuned and made 290hp. Was doing a pull the other day and the car shut off and now is replacing every sensor on the car pretty much, but wont pull the vc to check timing. I think everyone and their mom has told him to check the timing.

I got the A&A T Trim running the 3.8" pulley(8 psi) with 60# injectors at the moment. It feels incredible on the street. The power builds until about 3K rpm and then it just screams to redline. First and second gear are fairly worthless on the street and im running NT05s at 28 psi. Ill make a build thread as soon as I can organize everything and take some real pics. I keep meaning to wash it since it was in my garage for almost 2 months but every time I have a nice day to do it I am busy and when I am not busy it is 40* out lol.

Super fucking high. Like 240+ if I let sit at idle. But it lowers drastically when moving. I know the big ass ic blocks it but it shouldn't be that high. Gonna start with the basics first though. Gonna get some coolant in there with some water wetter...if that doesn't help a better fan with a shroud...Then finally another radiator.

Do the recommendations I listed out and we will move from there man. Start with the cheapest fix first. Plus of you stayed side feed you'd be the typical boostedk20. Your 67mms is no typical build. It nasty be your rad but let's look into coolant first. And I agree with the rad Martin posted you need a dual pass rad but that one won't fit.

So I have the bike, 8th gen ex daily, and 300zx now. They all run great, no problems and need no money spent on them so there outta the way.

(RSX) Wrecked, salvage title, and is currently stock because I thought insurance was going to take it. But I still have all the aftermarket parts EXCEPT kpro because I let that go months ago in a trade for the bike. I'm pretty sure the frames straight, and if anything it max is gonna need a rad support, headlights, and a bumper. But it runs and drives fine now.

(DC2) 100% stock and rolling, clean title, 5/10 exterior, 8/10 interior. Missing no parts, still has rad, ac, ps, etc... Just doesn't have motor and trans. But have no kswap parts whatsoever.

(Motors) Have a complete Z1 swap, motor, trans, harness, accessories, axles, etc. And I have a complete A3 block and head on the engine stand in my living room collecting dust lol.

Then lets say I have like 2k cash to blow, what would you do????

You can wheelie so much better on a 1000 because with the mine you really gotta clutch it up hard to get the front end up at like 60+mph :thumbdown:

That's why I want 2 bikes, 1000 to actually drive and enjoy and the 600 to do stupid stuff on because a 600 with a 70 tooth rear your not daily driving on hahaha. Sprockets are already done but its nothing too extreme. Mine stock teeth were 16 front and 43 rear, now 15 front and 48 rear. It picks the front end up a lot easier and with the R6 throttle tube mod the bike is deff fun to toss around for sure. Being that its my only bike I'm not mad and its a kinda best of both worlds setup because it is more peppy but also can cruise at 70mph on the highway.

But the problem is everyone I ride with has a 1000 with like a +2 front -4 rear, and a 600 with -2 front and +20 or so rear lol. So on the highway when everyone's on the 1000's, mine runs outta steam when everyone else is pulling away. And when everyone's on the 600's, mines geared too long for small parking lot activities. Plus not having frame sliders or a cage I don't wanna try any stunts I might come off on ya know :tap:

Word of caution... speed sensor for the 05+ needs to be spaced even further then when using the base model gears as I broke another sensor because it hit the new larger manly built tough 3rd gear. Soon as I get another sensor I'll be golden to tune it and get it ready for next track season.. looking forward to 2015!!!

lol I make sure to get at least 7 hours, regardless of 2 jobs and school. I couldn't manage everything (well without wanting to shoot myself) without at least 7 hours of sleep. I know monjarassi probably gets like 2 hours of sleep

In a week theres 168 hrs.
Morning job mon-fri I work 39.50hrs
Second job mon-sun I work 40hrs average

That leaves a total of 88.50.
Now let's say I sleep average 7 hrs a day.

That leaves me with 39.50 hrs in a week.

If u divided that by 7 days that's the amount of hrs I might have to spare for family and myself

I've done the little-to-no sleep thing. It sucks, no two ways about it. If it enables you to rock your world and achieve your goals, it's worth it. But if it's at the expense of other important things, those things need to be weighed and reassessed. I've been scheduling my days for the past few weeks and I've learned quite a bit. It takes more discipline during the day and night to get things done on a schedule - especially in terms of information retention. Still learning of course, I just figured I'd see how others schedule their days regarding sleep.

I also saved up enough to buy headers for my C5 since my Si is finished for now (I just need to fix a minute oil leak and finish tuning, but now is a very bad time to do so regarding weather), but the headers are almost 2k installed. I'm at the point where I'd rather hold the money for a few months and see how life goes before pressing the go button. I've thought about going nitrous because of the bang-for-the-buck aspect and I've never owned a nitrous car, but again I think I should just focus on school and hold onto the money before moving forward. I'm taking 25 credits this semester, and even cooking healthy food and hitting at the gym leave me no time for 6 hours of sleep. Trying to iron things out.

I agree, Dan. You have to reevaluate your scheduling if it cuts into too much important parts of life.

I would hold onto the money for now. Enjoy the car some more as it sits plus winter and salt aren't the best for exhaust components. Why start them off in the salt right?

But my second car was a nitrous car...... Fully low comp built do em2 with a 140-shot of nitrous (talk about sleeper hahahaha). Nitrous is fun for sure and I loved it.

Si Speed 317 as for nitrous v8's love it and can hold a shot. I would definitely read up on it but a friend of mines stock z06 c5 went 10.5 @ 140ish on a 150 shot and slicks

Nitrous cars are fun you just can't be stupid with it and spray more than you can take.

It's almost out. Should finish it up tomorrow. I threw the clutch in last night and after finishing decided to put the trans in also. Still gotta do the subframe and fluids but that's slightwork now. Getting tuned Saturday from a friend over emails as well till dyno time
