Mine has snapped a base axle, three type-s axles, blew a diff outta the trans case, broke 1st gear and 2nd gear, broke one clutch disk in half, blew out springs in two different clutches, etc.....

Drag racing no...... VIR best lap time was a 3:05.74 on street tires and HP+ pads and that was driving to the limit...... If I actually had r-comps and the carbotech's and actually wanted to drive I could beat that time. On my c5 though, I just got the vararam br2 intake. Direct ram air from both lower front sides of the bumper. Proven to net 30-40whp throughout the entire powerband (around 30 untuned, 40 tuned). I worry about hydrolocking with that, but everyone says they're fine. :shrug:

Basically because you would have to submerge the entire front end to hydro lock it. As long as one of the ram air ducts is getting air instead of water then all you will pull in is air.

It might be awhile. The radiator and fan shrouds are giving me issues fitting my intake on the blower inlet and the charge piping coming directly off the blower is rubbing my PS cooler. At the moment I believe I will be going with a Dewitts short radiator with fans and a custom PS cooler mounted in between IC and radiator.
