ive had 3 different interviews/auditions for this painting job and they are moving slow as balls. The guy doing the job currently is so slow and gets overspray on everything. Im tired of being patient about it. Hate the waiting game.

Yes, the amount of work that goes through this place is insane. They treat there employees really well and there has been a lot of stuff going on lately that have taken the managers away from hiring someone.

lol I understand. Honestly, it all depends on how far you want to go with the first 2. An s2k cluster wiring is just a jumper so its only one option.

for the engine harness, raychem? techflex? mil spec plug? contrawinding? breakout boots? extra connectors for sensors (boost solenoid, aem gauges)?
or just a cleanup job with techflex and everything stays the same? Over valve cover or factory routing?

for the headlight harness, same questions as above but... ac, abs, fan switch, or srs? also where do you want your fusebox (this is the most important part)

you can pm with exactly what you're looking for and we can talk.

That works until you hit a parking lot with wide sticky tires. If you run the mr2 pump you can just flip a switch and have ps whenever you need it.

That works until you hit a parking lot with wide sticky tires. If you run the mr2 pump you can just flip a switch and have ps whenever you need it.

Yea see with the older civics no PS wasn't bad at all, I never had it in my gutted EK and I didn't feel the need for it. I've driven a couple RSX's without it and it was drive-able but deff no walk in the park lol lol

The fork is not very hard to replace and neither are the synchros and all the bearings. For the synchros and bearings you just need a press. There is a really nice write up on 8th civic detailing the transmission tear down.

Since you'll be taking it apart just put them in a stack to keep them ordered or laid out in the order they go on. Also the synchros kinda only go on one way. Just remember it's smallest to biggest (1st to 6th) on the main shaft and largest to smallest on the counter shaft. The counter shaft gears 3-6 are all splined on the inside and the main shaft gears are not. Gears 1 and 2 are not splined in the counter shaft and ears 1 and 2 are actually part of the main shaft itself.

You need a few allen heads but 14mm is the biggest. And a 12 or 10mm for the countershsft

Would a big twin screw setup whine at idle like the corvettes and mustangs do? That is one thing I love about those setups lol.

Ya it's really not so bad, just pay attention and reference the DIY frequently very helpful. This was my first time doing anything like this and everything works great for me. Trans shifts perfect. I replaced all the bearings while I was in there.

Only if you bolt them to your factory seat rails. You will also make more power with a 2.25" exhaust because back pressure...
