So rotrex has come out and said that they have been experiencing leaks from their smaller series of blowers when the oil reservoir is mounted above the blower.
They say to mount it level or below the blower because it does not require to be gravity fed. The blower itself acts as the pump so it will draw the fluid from the tank.
