Ok so while my son is sleeping I figured I'd make a diy on this. I've seen a lot of people take this and blow it up into this huge ordeal. But it doesn't have to be that way. So I'm here sharing my tip on how I've been doing this for years on my Hondas.

Tools needed:
Valve lash specs (mine are .30mm intake and .30mm exhaust) on kelford C's
10mm wrench or socket (I prefer a wrench)
Flat blade screw driver
Set of feeler gauges
19mm socket and 3/8" ratchet

I used a straight set of feelers and just need to tip to about a 45* angle.

So first things first remove the valve cover. (my motor didn't have it on so that is not in here.)

1) place the motor at TDC (top dead center) using your 19mm and ratchet on the crank pulley

This is what your cam gears should look like.

At this stage you can go ahead and adjust both intake and exhaust valves. Break loose the jam nut and loosen the screw. Slide your feeler in there abs begin to tighten the screw till it starts to drag against the false while moving. Lock that in place. It's easier to do with the wrench because you can hold the set screw in place and it won't move on you.

I found it easier to adjust the intake valves like this

And exhaust valves like this

Now notice how the cam lobes are in this pic at #1 TDC

Notice they are up and pointing towards each other. This ensures the valves should be fully seated.

Now you rotate till you see a set of lobes get to the same position

Which is cyl 3

Cam gears well look like so...

Adjust your cake last on cyl 3 now.

Once done rotate the crank till cylinder 4 lobes hit the position

Cam gears will look like this...

Adjust and let's move on.

Cyl 2 is next...

Cam gears line up like this...

Adjust and lock your jam nuts and Boom your ready to Rock.

Don't fret over this simple task it's really easy one you get the hang of it. Should take you ~15-25min.

I'm unsure of your specific valve lash specs so please have those ready when you go to do your own motor. The specs I have are for my application only (unless you have kelford C's like I do)

Thanks. Figured I've been slacking because I prefer to take a picture of visible progress not step by step. This was simple enough to do and not spend all night writing up.

Btw u might want to add that the specified specs will be on the hood for each vehicle.

You can do the video version! I'll post it on the YouTube page as well!
