What's up from ephatch, this is my build thread I started over there and wanted to share the love over here.
I am now in the middle of my etune, and so far so good. I will update some pics, and give some of the inside things I learned along the way. Thanks for checking it out!

So here we go kiddies, one nother EMUSA build. I am an EP3 noob, only had my ride for about a year and a half.....it has changed ma life.

Big ups to AKEP's sticky, Ephatch, all the other kiddies who boosted and lived to tell about it, and NewBrazza. He's hand fed me info and after peeping his build thread made me pull the trigger to boost! Check his thread it's dope, this one will be similar hopefully hitting some of the things his did and didn't. Being a newb I had all the same old questions, and some that were only answered by badgering people and hours and hours of research, and still need to know more! So hopefully this will help some of you.

Here it is......Finally after the post office lost it then found it......the box!

Let's get this party started
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0849-Exposure.jpg
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0855-Exposure.jpg
Everything came packaged nice, it seems that I have all my parts and they are correct, I feel blessed...
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0858-Exposure.jpg
Waste gate feels nice not to cheap, next up the oil feed line.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0860-Exposure.jpg
Type RS Blow off Valve, though it was suppose to be an HKS knock off, but it still fits the already welded flange.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0882-Exposure.jpg
As some I think has said before definitely needs to be cleaned up
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0883-Exposure.jpg
Intercooler was nicely packaged, not banged up, and I got my mounting brackets. eeeeeeeyeeeeaaaahhhh
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0862-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0865-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0866-Exposure.jpg
The mani was boxed nice as well, looks pretty good too.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0868-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0869-Exposure.jpg
Now, the down pipe welds, look nice, I got the shop ready have to modify the down pipe to a three bolt flange and cut it to fit, also have a custom 2.5" being made for it as well, for now, after a bit I will go TKeller 3 inch all the way through......
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0867-Exposure.jpg
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0871-Exposure.jpg
Intercooler piping was all there with the correct fittings as well!
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0881-Exposure.jpg
The return line, I am going to tap my pan, but the fitting they give is aluminum, so maybe honda bond and some JB? Or a steel fitting welded.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0877-Exposure.jpg
And of course the Snail, well packaged to I might add..........
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0872-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0873-Exposure.jpg

Coupler for the TB 2.5" to 3" EMUSA Special, doesn't come with the kit.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0886-Exposure.jpg
VMS Manifold block, not necessary but looks good and hopefully will help keep the vac lines clean...
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0887-Exposure.jpg
And some other goodies, MAC solenoid (which I think I have the install down!), Down pipe from Ebay (Newbrazza, After I ordered it I realized it was just like yours doh! So I am sure I will have to trim it.) And glow shift specials, with the pillar kit they assured fit the Ep3...Sike! Got a universal on the way..
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0889-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0891-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0898-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0903-Exposure.jpg
For the fuel set up. Deatchwerks 600cc injectors, and 65c fuel pump. (maybe I'm lazy but I like the plug-n-play)
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0895-Exposure.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0896-Exposure.jpg
And the scragglers, the tp8, oil restrictor(not shown) which I am not exactly sure where to hook it up!, and Banjo bolt..just in case.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0907-Exposure.jpg
And..the engine bay, before we go to work on it..........RBC taking up so much room!(Fujita short ram, DIY JDM wrinkle paint valve, on the downside greedy cat back exhaust TIC, and Tein suspension with exedy stage one)
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0910-Exposure.jpg

That's just about everything you need, except of course Kpro, which is already behind my glove box, some heat wrap, vac hose, and I got some chrome zips for the heat wrap etc. Oh and I will also be going to ACE to get my zinc metric bolts as apposed to what comes with the kit. I am hoping to prep and start the build tomorrow, wish me luck, I am hoping to be diligent enough to take pictures of everything, and especially the things I had a lot of questions about, being a newb and all. If I am missing something to start please to all you OG's let me know, hopefully this will be as helpful as AKEP's and Newbrazza's post were to me.

Okay, after a few day, a lot of learning, some busted knuckles, and just plain fun, I feel like I am almost there! I wanted to post as I was going but late nights, and a fervent desire to complete has kept me lax on my post. ( as I am sure a lot of you already know)

I will say though this had been a lot of fun, even in the exhausting moments!

Show time!
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0915-Edit.jpgMight as well do some clean up while the wheels are off and it's up
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0916-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0917-Edit.jpg

I popped the header. (Which was surprisingly easier than I thought.) It may have been the easiest part.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0919-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0920-Edit.jpg

Then the bumper, I suggest getting some extra bumper clips.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0921-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0922-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0928-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0930-Edit.jpg

Trying to stay organized.

Oil pressure sensor

Dropping the subframe to get the oil pan out.

Oil pan out.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0956-Edit.jpg

Time for some heat wrap
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0961-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0963-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0965-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0914-Edit.jpg

Waste Gate and turbo.

http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0967-Edit.jpg

Oil feed and return. The bolt you see are the ones you loosing to clock the turbo.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0968-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0969-Edit.jpg

Since I'm a newb and learning I clocked the turbo up.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0971-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0975-Edit.jpg

Oil pan tapped. It's aluminum so you can't weld it. Couldn't find a steel here on Maui, so I made it work.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0976-Edit.jpg

T fitting with the tp8 for my oil pressure sensor, gauge, and oil feed. Need to have the tp8 though for the correct thread.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0979-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0980-Edit.jpg

Turbo mounted, and I will say doing this alone was hard. And I should have removed the valve cover.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0982-Edit.jpg

Intercooler...this was probably the most challenging, 1 because I got a couple wrong pieces, and 2 I thought it would be the easiest.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0983-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0984-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0985-Edit.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_0986-Edit.jpg

Another shot of the oil pan, and my fuel set up. the only mod the 65c needed was a couple clips cut off, that was it. Just make sure you put your O rings in right!

I am going in the morning to get my mid pipe done. I'll post more pics, once it's done and give my 2 cents, on the EMUSA kit and being boosted!!

Welcome to :boostedk20:

Awesome documentation of your build process, seems like the EP guys take after Sir monjarassi! I'm glad to see you're enjoying the process known as DIY! It's great when you don't know, that you learn hands-on. If there are any other issues, you can fix it all yourself! Definitely keep us updated with your progress!

Also, since that intercooler (unfortunately) won't be very efficient, let me know which you would like from our eShop. They're a great bang for your buck, and will work and fit nicely!

Sweet! Thanks, yeah I will be updating as the learning curve increases, with CEL, cooling issues, and all the other little things that pop up when you are just learning!

So far the EMUSA kit is holding up, I had to narrow down an oil leak and replace a gasket to fix it, and readjust my intercooler a few times until i got it and my bumper to fit right....And I blew a coupler off, and had to remove the bumper again to fix it! ha! I ended up mounting the intercooler to the number bar, and I used hairspray to reseal and hold the couplers! Going turbo strong and I am in the middle of my etune, so I been making runs which can be challenging here on Maui because the top speed limit is 55mph and it's going up and down the mountain. Everything else is 45 and under so I have to make the runs on the sly!

Another update**

Alright so here's an update. After having fuel pressure issues that came out of nowhere and with the help of some legit OG's I got my ride back in the road and finishing my first e-tune! So I was driving along no big deal filled up on has and my ride wouldn't start. Hmmmm strange after a few cranks it turned over. The I threw an evap leak cel. Okay tightened the gas cap and cleared the code. It never came back. But as I was getting ready to do a run for my tune as soon as I put in 3rd and wot the car started to surge after 3 g's. My tuner thought maybe the injectors, although they're brand new or some how I am loosing fuel pressure. But at idle everything worked fine, the pressure check showed the pressure was there. Hmmmmmm....big thanks to monjarassi! Huge thanks. I hit him up and he was quick on the reply and quick to help too. So the symptoms were surges at higher rpms, and the car would not turn over when it was hot. After hours of troubleshooting and scouring the net, monjarassi put me on to Brian at speed lab.net. This dude knows his stuff. Straight genius if you ax me. Any ways he looked at my datalog, and within a very short time (this dude got back to me immediately after I contacted him!) LEGiT.. Brian hit me back with only a few possible scenarios and it made sense. Bad fuel pump(but mine is brand new), bad in tank regulator(never thought of that), or a pin hole in the fuel line in the tank which would explain why it wouldn't start when hot. So I changed back to my stock pump, same problem. Whew at least it wasn't the new fuel pump, my next step was to change the fuel lines and check the regulator. (Brian said he'd seen the regulator be the culprit more times then not). And when I pulled the pump. Boo ya the regulator wasn't seated right. It looked like pressure had blown it out. So I put back in right after inspecting the o ring and replacing I put a zip tie to hold it for extra reinforcement. And now my boosted ep3 is back on the road finishing up my tune. Whoa after hours and days of trouble shooting this one little thing I overlooked cause some headaches. But mahalos to monjarassi and Brian at speedlab.net. Brian narrowed it down for me in just a couple hours! Now he beast is running nice!

So, after getting my fuel pressure issue resolved it was time to clean the beast and put some finishing touches on the build. So here it is the engine bay as it sits now.
http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_1091Honda.jpghttp://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww347/retamiz/The%20Honda/DSC_1081Honda.jpg

And I went with a pillar for my gauges, not to unique. But in order to monitor and see it worked best for me. Plus, to try and get anything fabed on Maui, is way too hard! I think I need to lower the front about another quarter inch. Just trying to find that sweet spot, to where I'm not grinding every speed bump I hit.
