but thats just trans and clutch back to stock axles, still need wheels slicks cage fuel re tune harnesses put the seats in shifter and other K-Tuned goodness lol im no where near i would just like to have it driving again. and at least you has baller trans and shit i just has stock 5spd with tsx 6th

Well I need new flywheel bolts so hopefully my shop has some, and the soft portion of the clutch line is about to go BOOM so time for a SS one.

Get a earls pre made line. That's what I did. They sell them in all sorts of lengths.
And I'd order new final drive bolts too.

They are in Baltimore/Rosedale they did the machine work to my block back in August .Do you remember that blue s/c 07 si my buddy owns it cracked a ring land on cyl #1 out of the blue didn't expect it but yes I'm building another that's 3 k series builds this year .

I love building these K series engines they are such good engines and pretty simple once ya get into them .He has a real nice car it was over 400 whp and has been s/c for a while on a bone stock bottom end .I'm gonna go ahead and do springs , head studs , ect ... now that I'm in there I love building these engines but don't always like pulling them out of the car especially the 8 th gen on the garage floor .

The only good thing is once the sub frame is out there is a ton of room it's just a lot to pull on the garage floor by yourself at my old age haha it works the hell outta me but I prefer to work alone when I can anyway .Just me and the car

Hell sometimes I work til 3 or 4 in the morning when I'm into a build lets me concentrate and focus on one thing without interruption.probably not the safest thing to do but I try to work safe .

Ya I had ridden in a boosted car prior to when 'I lost my boost virginity' but it's not for real till you're driving.... You know... kinda like you finally got to home base... riding in one might be like second base...
Also are ACL bearings really that much better than OEM? From a bit of reading it seems as though OEM has way more sizes... But I guess if the crank is within spec the extra sizes just aren't necessary?

as far as i know they are interchangeable. I used a2 bearings on my z3 crank that is in an a3 block. I did hear that a2 bearings have a different coating? but i heard that in passing so i may have mixed that up

Yes z3 block sorry.
And for one (engine builder/tuner) preference and I have a close friend on a built types have issues with them bearings on the dyno.
Don't wanna go there myself.

They are all interchangeable, the only difference being their thickness between ACL and OEM. ACL standard size is similar to a Honda green bearing IIRC... That is my understanding. I don't think I'll ever get all the measurements, but they will be taking all necessary measurements as they assemble. It should be rather straight forward, as only one rod spun a bearing and it was very minor. The rest should all be right within spec.

The 1.25 thread pitch is killing you. Plus most barb fittings are going to be NPT anyways. You could however stack components

It should have a cable that reads off the ecu for its data. A few certain sensors may need added separately like fuel level ect.

You have to buy like a module with ports that intakes data from your choice of sensors, and that transmits the data to the dash cluster. Thankfully AEM reads all data could possibly care to know about so I don't need all of that...that's more so for track setups (ie GPS, lap times, suspension travel, blah blah blah)
