Auto source is mia. I've been trying to reach them for weeks. So I'm just going to use the one I have in storage atm (top hood) saves me money for now. Not super happy with it, but things could be worse I say.

So, turns out my idler pulley 'washer' and bolt are randomly missing. A buddy of mine changed it for me back over the summer. I don't know if he forgot to put it in months ago or it fell out randomly or what, but I don't want to drive the car without it (although I probably have been for.... i have no idea how long). Best place to figure out what the correct bolt is? Probably an online Honda parts store, I just want to confirm that it's the right bolt/washer

lol The only thing i ever worked on a 300 was a stereo system, so I dont exactly know how bad it is. But even the 350 is pretty cramped, to do anything on them you have to feel the bolts with your hands and hope its the right one lol

I had to use it once the first time I went to the track in my other car. I broke the final drive doing noob wheel hop off the line lol I bet that was funny to see for the others that day as hey everybody has to start somewhere :shrug: I had a friend with me who had triple a and we called them after a little bit of a wait they towed me home. He only had the plan with 3 miles of towing so it cost me 130 dollars to get towed 25 miles .After that day I got my own triple a with 100 mile towing and bought a tow dolly .I won't drive my car to the track 99% of the time now that I have the dolly .

Not brake clean but PB blaster and I have tried that but it wouldn't hurt to do it a few more times. I think I've grown impatient with it enough to where I need to approach it differently.

Man, I feel your pain. I suck(ed) at it, but I took different seminars and classes and learned how to do well in different types of classes. Thats the reason I ended up with an A and a 100 on the final - and the highest grade in my class. It's proven that it takes 11-13 problems to fully understand a concept in math. So, the professor gives you hw in the text book. Do extra by doing 11-13 problems of the same type in each section. You gotta put the work in and actually set time aside 3x a week to do your hw and study, but it pays off VERY well.

Just a story from someone who got great grades that had to really [fuckin] work for it. ;)

Good! And yea, thats what will hold you down. If you have a question, raise that hand man. If everyone else gets it and you don't, too bad for them. Math is cumulative in it's concepts, so you miss one thing and you're screwed for the rest. You pay for an education, so make sure you get one!

And calc for sure. I had a TI-83, now they have such complex ones its crazy!

Get a TI-89 if you're allowed to use it and maybe even if you're not :hiding: that calculator can do derivatives, algebra, integral a, basically everything. Can even give answers in fraction form, so when doing trig, instead of getting a long decimal, you get the real answer such as (pi)/6. That calculator basically passed calculus for me :D and technically we weren't supposed to be using that fancy of one :hidingagain: but good luck with it! I'm glad I'm done with that undergrad stuff, taking stuff out of your major gets lame after a while...

On another more what are everyone's thoughts on LSDs? I am thinking about upgrading to a different one while my trans is apart, but not sure if it's worth it as the stock LSD in the 8th gen trans seems to work rather well IMO. I was looking at the mfactory one, anyone have experience with that one?

A d I need to order another -16 fitting because I prematurely ordered the last one. Thought I had proper placement but didn't have the blower on to see the exact area I had to work with. So that's ordering today. I need to buy my trans case and bearings. That will happen this week. Assemble the trans.

Motor needs to come all the way out and get the new one set in place. Need a new lower ball joint for the LF. I had to beat it up to get it out.

Get my extended studs in.

Order a set of skinnies that are cheap and tires. That should do me.

Oh and a tune on pump and race fuel.

lol nothing fancy haha i wish. just a 96 accord with 146k locked up ac compressor pulley, but there is a replacement compressor in the trunk lol. it was a steal so i bought it ill drive it once in a while or while the rsx is down, then sell it in like 6 months and make some money of it

I've had my coilovers for about a month now, and I can definitely say they're amazing overall! I had the Skunk2 Pro-S coilovers before this, definitely a giant upgrade in every way. Not one bad thing about them - very easy installation, comes with everything you need, very adjustable, and great dampening. The only downfall is that the 6k rear springs are way too soft for a boosted Si, probably even soft for NA too. I'm definitely looking to get some 10k or 12k in the rears ASAP.

Others feel free to chime in on your experience with their coilovers, especially those with different spring rates! :thumb:

Oh don't we all haha. Goo thing about my parts is I ship them to work and the guys know us all so they bring the ground packages in along with the early am packages so we get them a couple hours earlier in the day. I have yet to order my trans casing and bearings still.

Main reason I switched to having them delivered to work is because no one is home to sign for parts while I'm at work. So they get set to try again the next day. Well guess what? I won't be home then either. Lol just a hassle to setup a pick up time ect.
