I would definitely use a catch-can ASAP. Great on any setup, NA or FI. What are the specs of the Mugen suspension? And what wheels are you looking into? Conversion of 1050kg to lbs came out to 2314.85lbs, so I'm guessing you meant 10.5kg? What specs/dimensions are you looking for?

And you'll love the 3" exhaust, makes a big difference.

car weight is now alone is 1150kg want to get that down to 1050kg..

here are the shocks ive got http://www.nengun.com/mugen/sports-suspension

going 3in it will start drinking fuel even more.. as i drive it daily.. im not sure

would be good if any self tuners on here could help out on my cam angles as i tune it myself, running 45 cam then vtec at 4000rpm then 50 cam to 7000 and then dropping to 40cam to red line to build up boost

Ah, I misunderstood initially. I thought you meant drop wheel weight and referred to the weight of the wheels, rather than the entire car. I gotchya. What else are you thinking of removing? ryaano18 monjarassi were just chatting about a new weight-reduction thread. Seems to be a popular topic over the past week! Shocks look awesome. Exhaust will drink more fuel, but makes more power! ;)

VitViper can help you with any tuning questions you have

Yes, or SFI injectors. They're the same injector with a better price point. Same injectors used on this year's past SFWD record setting civic from Team XIR.

thinking about ordering http://www.southbayfuelinjectors.com/honda-650cc-b-d-h-k/ or do you think i should go bigger running around 70% duty cycle ?

or http://www.southbayfuelinjectors.com/honda-850cc-b-d-h-k/

will they fit on standard fuel rail?

Honestly, go with the 1000cc. You're returnless, and you don't want to have the issue of getting new injectors again. I made over 400whp turbocharged with SFI 1000cc injectors and a walbro 255, without a return. Now I have a bigger fuel pump and a full return setup with a -6 feed. The 1000cc will also allow you to run e85, which you'll love if you have it available by you.

above santapod day was dissapointing but found out why

mercracing bracket bolt snapped off (see pic) broke in the auto tensioner.. so belt not 100% aligned, ordered another auto tensioner instead of removing bolt.. hopefully straight forward taking it off..

put it down to belt was being too tight.

Just ordered a Mercracing Aftercooler and 2.8in pulley from Jose

should be around 11psi on the DC5 R crank pulley

how much psi and stock sensor see?

how much power gain you guys think it will give? only on 7psi now and dynoed at around 280whp

At 11 psi with his aftercooler I could see you around 320-330 whp with a good tune. The stock map sensor can see 14 psi I believe. I might be wrong.

The stock sensor on the 8th gens maxed at 10-11 psi. A competent tuner should be able to make the stock sensor work even if it goes above 11 psi a tad since it's a supercharger and all linear.

I don't think that's all that inaccurate. The stage 2 supercharged 8th gens at dyno days I've been to usually make around 290hwp, and that's with a bit more than 7.5 psi, they're closer to 9-10, so I think that's pretty spot on.

Stock map sensor isnt going to work above 10psi- not accurately at least. Id upgrade to a 3-4 bar map sensor along with a better IAT sensor relocated to the manifold for when you get the aftercooler- both will provide more precise readings for a stronger tune. I would say 315-320 @ 11psi on a aftercooled jdm k20a is about right.

I guess the posts were removed by beppe, but I agree 315-320 @11psi is a good range for an aftercoooled k20a. Assuming on 91/93 pump and not running meth.

Love the car man- i wouldnt add the AC back unless you really want it. If your getting belt slip then your belt is either worn out or you need a smaller belt. That ac compressor takes up a lot of room so my guess would be the latter. Im interested to see what your k20a can do with the aftercooler. I'll be in the same boat soon...

Did your belt get routed differently when it had the AC installed? That looks exactly like mine- except with your PS and JRSC tensioner you have like 20% coverage on the boost pulley- explains why it slips. The mercracing tensioner should fix that problem- i think his is designed for the rsx PS to offer max belt wrap

im using the mercracing bracket that uses the oem auto tensioner .. that ps pump on top causes the problem.. easy way is put the aircon pump back.. only weighted around 7kg.. i can live with that don't have any other choice

with aircon on belt goes down around waterpump and back up around alternator and down to aircon.. giving more grip on jrsc
