I know it allows for weight reduction, but is it really worth it if you're just a hood or trunk?

~100lbs per item i believe. which is roughly 1/10 of a second faster per 100 lbs reduced

i have a few CF pieces & i really dont feel no difference from stock hood & trunk so i spent the money so its on for looks now & one day ill get my car painted i will paint them to match the color of the car.

I don't think you will "FEEL" a difference in any manor to be honest.
You may see a difference in your time slips but that also requires you to be a very consistent driver. 9 times outa 10 ppl buy carbon fiber for the looks.

It saves a little weight but it does get annoying when u dont have perfect fitment
it would be the last on my list... for the same price I can buy go fast parts that do make a difference I can feel and notice
